Due Diligence Case Study

Project Definition:

RMI was part of a Due Diligence team tasked with assessing the value of a UK business with Chinese manufacturing in a market adjacent to the clients core business.

Approach:

The role of RMI was to validate IP, R&D road map, product development processes and to identify key technical resources responsible for the companies past success.  The competitive landscape was also investigated for intellectual property, current academic research and commercially available products.

Deliverables:

A report was provided summarizing research and providing a quantitative assessment of the business from a market value perspective.

Results:

The UK company was acquired.  The business was accretive in the first twelve months due to over 20% growth experienced shortly after the sale.
